We’re proud to unveil a new chapter for RVCS—our refreshed logo and brand identity!

In December 2025, the final logo was chosen by the Staff and Board of Directors of Robson Valley Community Services, Through a process of surveys, meetings, and communication among the team – we created the new logo. The final logo draws inspiration from natural elements found in the Robson Valley.

The most notable elements of the logo are the silhouette of Mount Robson – which in itself is a symbol of natural beauty, strength and courage. When you stand at the base of Mount Robson, there is an overwhelming sense of universal connection. There is something in the severity of the rocky faces, and jagged peaks that always reminds me, we are all just people. It doesn’t matter where you are from, or where you’re going – at the bottom of a mountain, we are all equals.

The main focal point of the new logo is the single stem of Fireweed. Fireweed is a symbol of resilience, blooming and flourishing where forest fires have destroyed the landscape. A beautiful metaphor for finding a way to thrive in the aftermath of trauma.

The combination of these two visual elements meld together perfectly. Helping us tell the story of Robson Valley Community Services through recognizable (and local) symbols. Our goal was for existing clients and newcomers alike to feel a sense of safety, inclusion, community and welcome. I feel that we have achieved our goal and created a logo system that we can all be proud of. The new logo is a delicate balance of hard and soft, contrast, clarity and colour. It is memorable, but not overbearing. Strong yet subtle. All of the elements necessary to support the work done at Robson Valley Community Services.
