Family Place Drop-In Program
Family Place Drop-In provides support and community belonging to parents and caregivers in a one-stop location for increased access to wrap around health and family services. It provides information on: childcare, parenting, child development, in-house and outside referrals for further supports, special needs services, early intervention therapies, and public health services. During Family Place, children and families participate in free play, guided crafts, reading and outdoor play at zero cost to participants.
Drop-in is available weekly mornings in McBride on Mondays and in Valemount on Fridays and offers activities both on-site and off-site with many fun excursions and events. Our environment is set up so that it is safe and nurturing, allowing the children to openly explore their surroundings with their parents/caregivers alongside them.
If you’re interested in attending Family Place Drop-In, please contact the office for details: 250-566-9107 (Valemount) or 250-569-2266 (McBride).
